Confidence

Professional speakers always say that when you only have the confidence, then you can carry on with your presentation no matter what happens. If you only trust and believe in yourself, then there is no need for you to worry. Confidence really counts, and it is one vital ingredient of the success of your training.

But the question there is, how do you get and maintain confidence throughout your presentation? Why do some seem to be confident in front of a crowd while others have jitters and shakes when speaking to an audience? What is the key to confidence after all?

The first thing to do is to handle and conquer your fears. It is of course natural to have fears. But the thing there is, you can use your fears to your advantage. Feel brave by pretending that you are brave. Do not be too conscious of yourself – how you talk, how you look, how you act. Doing so will cause you to be more nervous in front of your audience.  It may also help to rehearse the whole presentation before the actual day. And most importantly, just enjoy what you are doing. Enjoy yourself. Get excited. Concentrate. FOCUS. Think positive.
