How important is the physical arrangement of your room or venue for your training? The setup of your room or venue is indeed critical in the running of your training.

Before really going into the structure of the place, make sure that it is properly lighted and well ventilated. You don’t want your audience to complain, do you?

And with regards to the physical arrangement of the venue, you can choose from many several room and chair arrangements.

With fixed seats for the audience, you obviously have no choice. But with movable chairs, you and your audience can move around and change locations anytime.

You can also choose to have a conference-like layout or a U-shaped setup. In a U-shaped arrangement, you can make the three sides about the same length so you can have a more effective participation and communication among the trainees.

Rounds are also popular in trainings and seminars. This layout allows smaller groups and more effective discussions and interactions among the groups.
