Topic
For training organizers, the big question lies on what topic the training will be targeting at. It is undeniable that setting the topic is the foremost important step before getting the ball rolling. What training organizers should bear in mind is to state the topic clearly and attractively – in a manner that could capture enough audience to ensure participation in the training. A boring, irrelevant topic is already enough reason to reach the conclusion that the training is in for doom. In reality, there is a wide range of choices of possible topics for training. You can actually choose any topic under the sun, though it sounds cliché. Indeed, your imagination is your only limit.
But sometimes, the unlimited supply of options for training becomes more of a problem than an advantage. You would always be thrilled to organize a training about a lot of topics that thrill your mind. Yet, the challenge is more on trimming down the options into the most feasible one. The question lies on the relevance, timeliness, appropriateness and appeal of the topic. After all, the topic spells the content of the entire training. It serves as the meat. If a topic seems shallow, the entire training is expected to be described as trivial.
