Training People in Public Services
“Public services” usually refers to services that government provides to its citizens. Due to their large clientele, people in public services must be able to understand the nature of the general public and how they can serve them better. Thus, training in this area is necessary to help public servants cater to the needs of the people more efficiently and more effectively. One of these trainings is with regards to customer service. Work-specific and technical skills training are also vital. When controversial issues that concern quality of public service arise, providing seminars and forum that addresses concerns will be highly beneficial.
